Description

In the first of what will be a series of events, we are hosting the esteemed Professor Alexander Edmonds (a medical anthropologist) and Dr Stuart Flint (an expert on social perceptions of obesity). After a brief welcome, the speakers will explore their ideas of the ethics of aesthetics as well the role played by the medical profession in both establishing and breaking down our perceptions of physical beauty. They will both take part in an interactive Q&A session followed by a food and drinks reception. We hope you are excited about this event as we are- it promises to be a great night and an opportunity to hear some true experts on the subject!
