In this talk I consider perhaps the central experience of drug users around the globe who participate in anti-drug war political activity, that is, the experience of dying-with.  This experience has effects both ontically and ontologically.  For not only is dying-with a key motivation for becoming politically active but it also initiates an awareness of the essential openness of being, an openness that is always shared, and an openness they try to enact in the worlds their political activity builds. This talk will consider how this is so.
