Please join us for a cross-disciplinary networking event on 15th February 2016. The aim is to explore areas of mutual interest and establish a network to exploit collaborative and funding opportunities.

This event will be hosted by Dr Rebecca Marsland (Social Anthropology) and Dr Andrew Gardiner (Royal [Dick] School of Veterinary Studies). Enthusiastic colleagues with an interest in animals and society are warmly invited to attend.

We aim to:

* Find out the level of interest in setting up a ‘Vets and Society’ network in UoE.

* Explore how a network could best support you and colleagues working in this area.

* Invite people to join a team to coordinate network activities.

* Provide an opportunity for you to meet colleagues and potential research collaborators in other disciplines with a shared interest in the diverse ways in which animals feature in society and medicine.

Tea, coffee and lunch will be provided.
