Advanced workshop for anthropological research on health, medicine and wellbeing

Hosted by the Anthropology of Health Research Group (Durham) and the Centre for Medical Anthropology (Edinburgh)

22nd and 23rd March, Durham University

The workshop is designed to provide a supportive environment for postgraduate students to present ongoing and planned research; to explore issues in carrying out and supporting research in health-related topics; to develop plans to improve research training and support for students working on health and wellbeing;  and to provide opportunities for networking between staff and students at the two institutions.

A key part of the workshop will be presentations by postgraduate students.  This will include work in progress, proposed research, and more polished thesis chapters.  MSc students will also present dissertation ideas.
