Medical Anthropology Beyond Academic Borders: MAYS 8th Annual Meeting
When: 15-16th June 2017
This was a two day conference in which early career scholars came from around the world to share papers on thier current research, and discuss practical ways and directions medical anthropological work can be used and made available outside academia, spark collaboration with other professionals, and provide the foundation for a professional career.
The morning were set for paper presentations and discussions, and the afternoons were occupied by workshops from anthropologically trained academics and professionals currently working outside academia.
