New faces in social anthropology
Social Anthropology will be welcoming five new permanent members of staff in September
The Social Anthropology subject group is delighted to welcome five new colleagues. Lotte Hoek joins us from the University of Amsterdam and Jacob Copeman arrives from Cambridge. Laura Jeffery, Maya Mayblin, and Joost Fontein, all of whom have been associated with the subject group as research fellows and temporary lecturers, have also been appointed to permanent lectureships. We also have to say goodbye to three colleagues who between them have made a huge contribution to our work in recent years - Heonik Kwon who leaves for a Readership at the LSE, and Tony Good and Jeanne Cannizzo, both of whom retired in the summer, but both of whom will remain actively involved with the subject group as Honorary Fellows.
