ESRC +3 Studentship to work in Southern Africa

Full-time +3 ESRC PhD Studentship in Social Anthropology Attached to the ESRC-funded project ‘Kinship systems in southern African non-Bantu languages: documentation, comparison, and historical analysis’ .

The studentship covers fees and a stipend (for UK applicants). 

Field research will be carried out in southern Africa. The precise topic of the PhD is flexible, but an interest in kinship will be an advantage.
