Scottish Training in Anthropological Research

Founded in 2006 the Scottish Training in Anthropological Research (STAR) consortium brings together social anthropologists from the Universities of Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow and St Andrews to support innovation in research and teaching.

In addition to co-hosting international conferences and workshops the consortium runs residential training courses in anthropology for postgraduate students and early career researchers, with support from the UK's Economic and Social Research Council.

This page has been built for use as a cross-institutional hub for sharing STAR-related information, documents, updates and materials.
