Past Events:

Royal Anthropological Institute Conference, Close Encounters: Bringing Anthropology Home. 2013. St Andrews.

The two-day Conference featured incredible speakers, exciting debates and workshops, an undergraduate call for papers, film screenings, art and music. The conference provided a platform for students of all levels, from those new to anthropology to seasoned academics to meet and learn from each other.  No doubt the anthropological highlight of the year! Organised solely by students our speakers included Arjun Appadurai, Dame Marilyn Strathern and Tim Ingold.
